This package contains the files needed for installing the EasyCap SMI Grabber Device Driver. If it has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified.
I can't speak for the OP, but in my case during the windows 10 upgrade, the driver has been removed, when I connect the USB device it shows up as a Multimedia Controller that needs a driver.I have tried to use the Windows 7 and Windows 8 drivers to get it to work however Windows reports there are no drivers for this device on the disk. The adapter is using a SMIusbgrabber3c driver, which does not seem to be supported by Windows 10.
